The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

Rybakina has all the weapons to win a slam and maybe a future top 5 player she just need to figure out how to win these kind of matches.

It is poetic justice that a woman born in Moscow who is 'registered' in Kazakhstan reaches the final at Wimbledon. The elitists at the All England Lawn Tennis Assn. Have egg on their faces. It will be interesting to see if the Dutchess of Cambridge will shake the hand of a Russian. She said she would not.

Rybakina reminds me of Lindsay Davenport - such a great ball striker

But a lot of them are built big and tall from those Eastern European countries. Several of them have big tall legs and arms like Rybakina, but Lindsay was mainly just a tall player, not big strong looking legs and body shape! I can name several, but I don’t want to beat up the spelling of their names.😀
