This was really fun to make. I hope all 11 currently existing Simoun fans happen to find this video, since I made it for them, and I hope they like it. Simoun is something I watched when I was around 14, and during that time it made an huge impact on me. It has its flaws but it always left a fond memory in my heart. Even as i'm writing this, 12 years later.

Thank you, that's really nice of you:) it was really interesting to find fitting effects for the anime, especially as simoun is rather oddly animated

I loved this! It gave me chills even though I haven't seen the Anime, something about Ruelle's songs just give amvs that epic feeling. Brilliant AMV :)

I have no idea how I missed this comment until a year after but yest I watched mai hime, and my Otome. And I don't think I can express to you how obsessed teenage me was with both shows, naturally Shizuru in particular, for so many years. I think that was wat got me into fanfiction, writing and even editing in the first place. Some of my 10+ year old re-uploaded amvs from a former account about my hime are still on this account

Are we the same person, OP? I also watched Simoun when I was 14 and it left a huge impact on me. I've just rewatched it and noticed many more problems it has than I did on my first watch but I found that it's still very dear to me. There's something about the setting and some of the character dynamics that really speaks to me. It gave me great pleasure to watch bits of it in 60FPS and your editing was great! My favourite thing are probably the Maaju Pool segments, like in 1:50. Thank you for making this. I wonder where the other 9 Simoun fans are...

Thanks for your kind words:) yeah it has some issues, the things you politely ignore once you have watched enough anime. Especially as it was based on some obscure ero visual novel. But still, it's very unique on its own.
