I've seen other dj's bring in the new song with the bass at 12oclock and then slowly take away the bass on the track that is currently playing all the way. What do you think is better?

its a bit too leisurely I feel, whats the point in fading from one track to another, keep it nippy

@@ketgala Facts. Fading basses works well for low tempo like lo-fi, and such, though

Depends on what kind of track you are mixing. fast bass swap is specifically designed for dance music where the bass and kick drum is the main element. Most of the time low frequencies can't be mixed together without interfering, creating muddy sound, or simply be too loud.

btw.. just bought pair of CDJ1000MK3.. they're a CLASSIC! and (to be honest) to play and have fun we dont' need all frills added in 2000s and 3000s.. no USB? true, that it's smart..anyway I like more a laptop that give me the chance to play TIDAL too and it's far easy to browse than a deck screen..
