Hi, A good idea. I will build one for me, but I think the suction shall come from the back. I don't exactly know how jet, but the pipe on the right would work on my nervous system. All by all, good video, and it challenges me. Willy from Belgium. 👏👏👏

Hi Willy, Yes, I thought about suction from the back side, but it is a fence there. Was the variant to build it inside the fence but in this case it becomes unadjustable. I have been using it for a very short time, but must to say that the pipe does not bother me at all, it is enough space to keep a blank with the left hand and i can move the drill press lever on the right easily. Thanks

Please tell us more about that piping. It appears to be "loose" fit with o-rings for sealing. Any chance that it's available in the US?

Why not clean the pillar when you removed the drill head anyway? It is so rusty and dirty so it definitely needs a good cleaning.
