I don't know if others see it, but to me, your work with Fairy houses seems to have taken on a new style recently; I mean, I've always been drawn to your artwork in this area, moreso than any others on the net; and now, it seems as if it has evolved somehow into a more simplistic style of Fairy house, aesthetically beautiful. I just love the houses, all of them, but especially the latest ones. This latest one is just so lovely. Thanks for the inspiration. :)

Hello, love all your stuff, I had no idea how to paint them so more of the colour went into the detail. Who new all you had to do is add some water to the paint. Your you tube video have defiantly helped me. I really want to make a bunch so I can add them to my flower garden in the summer. Since they are made of paper clay and not polymer clay ( I only make mini ones this way as it is so expensive) I am assuming that they would fall apart if they got rained on? Is there some kind of sealer that can make them water proof? Thanks

Thanks. That's difficult question. Honestly I don't have kitchen scale since it's broken long tome ago 🙂. Also, it depends on how big your jar is.

Thanks. I don't think air dry clay is the best choice of material for birdhouse that will be placed outdoor all the time even if you waterproof it. But, you can try if you want to experiment with it. I am not sure what would be best waterproof materials for this. 😁

Hey! I have started making this and it's coming out fantastically ..But 1 ques that after making the and covering the jar with clay do we have to keep it to dry and then paint or as soon as we cover with clay we can directly paint on wet base .....Please do answer😊

Thank you so much I do want to ask u do u have trouble with your houses cracking ? I make the air dry clay Glue,oil,lemon juice,and corn starch it makes wonderful clay but as I drys it cracks so bad I am so frustrated what do u do to keep ur fairy houses from cracking ?

It depends on type of clay you use. You can wrap the jar with tissue and glue first. That might work for you.

I reuse my small jar used to be a jar of pesto, spaghetti sauce, chili, and other Asian sauces😁 Basically you can use any type of jars😊
