The final episode of the year 2020! It's a day shy of my birthday as well! I had to get this episode done before the year ended even though I am in Bangalore and have taken up a new project that's eating up all my time. Between celebrating Christmas, writing a show, making Instagram reels and wrapping up the year, Simple Ken can't take a back seat! This episode covers the impact of discussing our problems in an open forum to the struggles of staying relevant in the day and age of social media. Also elaborating on "Why I explain things using metaphors", this episode quickly and surely wraps up everything.

This pandemic should be an awakening call to these convent schools...we get butterflies in our stomach when we talk to anyone now that we've been under lockdown...those kids going to convent schools also get anxiety attacks and are so confused when they meet the opposite gender...that's terrible

#simpleken Hello, Happy birthday!! (if you read this tomorrow, that is) Been a fan of your work for about two years now. I started watching your work when i was in my grade 10 prep leave for boards. This used to be my fav thing to do during study breaks. 2 years later, i find myself in the same position, (grade 12 board prep leave) and i have no regrets!! Thank you for your hardwork :)) On that note: This year, i found my self doing so many activities. I started my podcast, founded and conducted an online event, did several MUNs and so much more. Since i did none of this as a part of my school, some of the teachers and the students did not appreciate this (i mean close friends). Some people always kept discouraging me and telling me to focus on studies. Since i study at the last moment, i always cover up, but no one understood this. They made fun of me for doing so much and kept telling me off and what not. As a 17 year old, it feels weird to crib about something this minuscule but it affects me and i do care what people think about me. Have you faced something like this ever? Why is it that the hard work someone puts in is not appreciated or valued to say the least? Also, i was an audience on the Son of Abish episode! It was wonderful to see you there :)

#simpleken Hey Kenny... I love your show and your sweet-sweet voice( I hear it mostly on Spotify)... I discovered your long recordings in January... And I have binged 1-2 of them every other day... When I reached episode 21 I realised that soon I won't be able to binge it and I will have to desperately wait for it every 1 or 2 weeks... With that note... I am in class 12th and I missed out on the last year of my school due to pandemic... And it has restarted for practicals(science)... And now I feel nostalgic before it's even ended cause I missed out on making new memories... Please tell us how you moved through your school to college transition... And what should I expect with my new life... Also... Again... I love your show... I have not watched more than a few comic videos of yours... But I just loved your talk show persoña... ❤❤

#simpleken HEY KENNY! okay, it's just an hypothetical question; What will you do if in some episode you don't get any "good" questions like the episode is so good that people are just praising you and qouting from ep, or there are questions you already talked about...basically you don't have questions to answer from the audience, what would you talk about? (and it'd never happen 'cause simpleken audience is sweet like you and more Danger now also!..) now it's a real one; Now as things are eventually getting back to normal and you are also doing shows, will you go back to the studio version? I know people say that all the time, even i have said a lot of times before, But your show is GREAT! 1st episode was my favourite and while I was listening again today, I just noticed(might be absolutely wrong but) that in first ones you were trying to be more funny, and now till the 23 episode you nicely talk about stuff however you want without any filter, which is super awesome...thank you for being so amazing! :) we love you! thanks for reading.

I love you ❤️ Question: I’m 18 and am still trying to make sense of life. I’ve joined a law college and I’m not yet sure about what I want to do in life. I feel I have a lot of creative worms that want to get out of my brain but don’t know exactly how. How did you figure out life when you were a young adult yourself? What pushed you to stand up and when you were 18 did you worry about what you would do in life/ where you’d work etc.? And lastly did you have any back up plan for your career? Hey Kenny, one of your audio listeners here. In your last -podcast- you talked about people who haven't dated till 28/29, well that's likely me :P I didn't have any typical school 'romance' which if I am honest, was not my choice. I was a dark, mallu chubby girl amongst fair gujjus and apparently it was a deal breaker. Anyway, I went to a fancy college, met people from across the globe basically saw the world in a sense but my opinions on relationships or marriage hasn't changed. My folks thought it was a phase to sound cool but now that I am 25 they are getting worried. Sorry, coming to the question- what's your take on marriage? Do you want to get married soon or it is some societal compulsion because everyone around you is? #simpleken #orsimpken

#simpleken Hey Kenny, Deeply grateful for all these long recordings. I've been following you since my college days and I can attribute some portion of my success and peace of mind to you. Thank u so much! My question : You mentioned about how dating helps us find what we want. Yes, it did help in figuring out who we can sustain a connection with. But, after dating multiple people from different backgrounds, it's still hard for me to know what I value. Examples: 1. Responsible vs spontaneous attitude 2. Relatable and familiar background vs complely new and exciting background? Also, we see some red flags early on in a relationship, but how do we know those are actually worth losing the relationship for? Like, if your partner is not very fluent in English, but is as aware as you, would you still date her? Isn't communication the most important thing in a relationship? After 4 decades, I am probably the only of my friends( and maybe int he world) who celebrates a birthmonth!! So nothing chill about it!
