What about a USB? Btw, I want to reiterate that you NEED to make a course. Don’t sleep on it. I recently bought one on “discount”. $400 from $800. Not even worth 10 bucks. Ok maybe it’s worth 10 bucks lol. Literally nothing special. The amount of information you give in 1 video is WORTH double the course I paid for in its entirety. You’re just very hands on and give tons of examples and your experiences are so valuable.

I think a USB would be fine but if you don’t have it with you when you need it sometime then it’s useless, or if you lost it or broke it, then you’d lose a lot. I thinks it’s safer backed up online. As for the course, I am actually working on it right now!! More details to come soon ❤️ really appreciate your support and kind words! Hope you got a refund on your course!

@@CassiyJohnson Yes! I have to admit, it took me by surprise when you said my name and made me happy!😊You did a shop review for me a while ago and I have been trying so hard to fix my problems and especially not overthink, but I’m still struggling with that one. When you’re not making sales, you keep trying to make “that shirt” that’s going to be successful. I just can’t seem to find the time to do everything and I spend so many hours on it almost every single day. What I mostly focus on is listing as many shirts as possible, but I still have made very few sales. September will be a year since I began and had a few weeks a couple of times during the year where I wasn’t able to work on them. Every time you say, “don’t give up”, I promise myself I won’t! However, when I read comments of how quickly others made sales, it’s hard not to doubt yourself. When checking out some of the successful shops, it amazes me how so many of them are not pretty or well designed and don’t even have great mockups, but they’re still making tons of sales!? Thank you for all your GREAT videos! I’m going to keep replaying your voice in my head saying, “you can do it“, and continue to plug along believing that the tide will change! ❤️

Hey Cassiy! My dream video from you, and anyone really bc ive never seen it - is the workflow of the entire process: Competitor research/collecting tags, designing, creating mockups, making the printify listing, and finally the etsy listing - I would like to see this from the POV of your workflow in your first 4 months on Etsy, I'm sure your work hours are much shorter now - not sure if this video would take a week of doing different tasks every day, or if you do it all in one day - my biggest struggle is finding this rhythm and replicating it week after week, like what do you do and in what order, thank you!!!! I can't imagine being productive to the level of publishing 50 listings a day - I totally understand it's about item variants, colors and testing different mockup images, but even still, 50 listings a day, day after day, is something can't wrap my head around right now, especially when people say they work on their stores 4 hours a day - I'm getting back on the grind again, I unfortunately stopped for a while, but I'm at 200 sales + 50 reviews, READY FOR Q4 BABYYYY

@@CassiyJohnson hey cassidy! I've watched both of those :) I guess what i mean is less of the how to, and more of the planning and time management - for example, when you go to work on your store do you do the entire process from competitor research to publishing - or do you batch it working on something different everyday

A strategy I use and suggest is to also purchase an external hard drive where you back up all your data regularly. Mine is two TB. Two reasons: if your computer crashes you have backups and there will be times in life when the internet is not available. This practice has helped me have complete peace of mind about my personal records. With the holidays coming there will be some great sales on these items. Hoping this is helpful to someone. 😃

I might make this in the future as part of a larger video but don't stress, you probably did everything perfect! Here is a video I did showing the whole process put together of finding a niche, making a design and uploading to Prinitfy. So feel free to watch the Printify part to make sure this is how you did it as well. I also have this video, the 5 things I wish I knew about Printify before using them video. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/d5agqtt0nKerY4U.html This one I share some of the settings I prefer on the Printify platform like setting up in the settings to have your orders automatically get sent to production once per day. As long as you set this up, then when you get an order, everything will happen without you doing anything! The order will go to Printify, it will be sent to production at the time you chose for the day, then when it gets shipped Printify will update the tracking number on Etsy and tell the customer it's on the way! So try not to worry, this business is super simple. Once you get your first order and see how simple it is, you will feel a lot better!

What would you advise on how many variations for each section I should open shop with, the most simplified and efficient step-by-step Canva-to printify-to-Etsy process for if you had TONS of designs to work with and your organization suggestions behind it. Thank you!!

Here are some video resources you should watch if you haven't seen them yet! Here's my video where I put the whole process of finding a design, making a design and listing together in one video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/prmjY9F-y7jVipc.html Here is a video on how to more efficiently make listings kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b7h4etdpnJzDoIE.html As far as how many designs per category, I'd focus more on finding a bestselling item and then making 2-3 designs for it and posting them. Then repeat this process with the next bestseller and so on. Don't feel like you need to have a specific set amount of anything in each category. 99% of people shop the search results for exactly what they are looking for and never actually click your Etsy shop to see what else you have!

Thanks, Cassiy! I have another organization question. Do you have a system to organize your listings on Etsy? It's so cumbersome to rearrange them. It gets to be overwhelming to have them look organized and categorized. Does this even matter?
@CassiyJohnson
@CassiyJohnson Жыл бұрын
No this does not matter at all! Don't organize anything on Etsy besides putting them in categories. 99% of people on Etsy are searching for something specific, they search Etsy for it, they find a listing that they like and then buy it from the listing, without ever even going to your Etsy shop! Try not to waste your energy on little things like this. Think of each Etsy listing as it's own Etsy store. Optimize it to get sales and then move on to making the next one!

Cassiy! First of all, love all that you offer us!! Secondly, knowing that you try to read and respond to all incoming comments, I would really appreciate an understanding of how to handle the financial end of things, in terms of an abundance of orders coming in, as it’s my minds biggest road block as of now. Perhaps my comment will spark a new video topic! Being that none of us know when specific merch item(s), or even our store(s) might take off, how can we be sure our credit card can handle being charged (by the print provider) for high amounts of orders? I do understand that we don’t get charged until an order is shipped out, but couldn’t many of those days be humongous charge-wise? Like a charge that’s in the thousands of dollars? I watch some sellers say they woke up to thousands of orders in one day, and clearly, eventually, those orders will get shipped out (here comes the charge). So how does the print provider pull monies from a potentially maxed out (on that specific day) credit card? And even with revenue coming into Etsy, sellers need time to receive the funds, pay off what’s due on the credit card, and all of this takes time, banking business-day wise. Help! Does one need to connect multiple credit cards to Printful? Do we wake up one day and then suddenly have to run to the bank to have a credit limits increased? As an example, I have one credit card connected that has a limit of $5000, but potentially Printful could charge me more than $5000 in a day, no? I really don’t understand how to handle this stuff. Are you filling up your Printify “wallet” daily?

So really depends on the niche, the more specific the niche the better. Like a local Bride group would be a great one to join if you sell bachelorette shirts for things someone local would want to buy. Like if you lived in TN and sell bachelorette shirts for Nashville for example. Then see when vendors are allowed to post their products. Then you literally just share your mockup picks and a link to your store on the days you are allowed to share your products.

@CassiyJohnson
@CassiyJohnson Жыл бұрын
I wouldn't recommend doing this since you are going to take twice as long to ship things and pay twice as much. The real benefit to doing POD is how SCALABLE it is. If you get 3000 orders this November, how could you possibly make that work on your own? Don't worry about personalizing in my option with the packaging. I have been super successful with the ugly white bag, because most people just want the item that thing that they are buying, they don't care what it comes in! I focus mostly on getting new organic traffic everyday to my shop from tons of different niches. I don't spend time on trying to create repeat business because how many shirts does one person really need to buy in a year... maybe a few. So your time is better spent getting in front of new customers if that makes sense.

Do you also have a folder for fonts, and where would you recommend keeping that, and your tag document (read that in the comments, I think that's a great idea. Lastly, we are actually looking at doing doing physical setup instead of POD, mainly because sourcing materials here is so much more affordable, even the cost of setting up a kiosk in the mall is very reasonable if we want to go that route.
