This video presents a simple overview of just the basic concepts of the HTTP protocol. This video demonstrates how a given URL is converted to an HTTP-GET request, sent to a web-server, and how the server sends back an HTTP response. The operation is also demonstrated via a simple telnet session. In addition, this video covers HTTP cookies, and chunked responses. Lastly, the presentation provides a skeleton web-server using the concepts discussed earlier in the presentation.
