OMG - I was getting so tired of my routine cooking every day. Then I made a commitment to make a different dish with this lady every day. WOW!!! What a difference it has made. My whole condo smells so good, and I don't want to leave a crumb of anything that I make. She has really brought back the joy of cooking for me!!!

For 20 yrs I watched you on PBS, now I'm im Chile and KZfaq has found a way for me to see you again Lidia. My favorite salad, zucchini with olive oil, tuna fish and olives 😍

What I love about Lydia is her recipes are simple, inexpensive and delicious. No frills cooking like other chefs who use lots of expensive ingredients. 😘

I can make this with Italian sausage, zucchini, rigatoni, tomato sauce and alots of cheese for dinner this looks good and easy to make yum plus garlic bread and salad 😋👌

Upping my cooking game during quarantine. What I appreciate the most from Lydia is her clear explanations for why she does or chooses something. Like tannin in tomato seeds make for a bitter sauce. I didn't know that.

credit where credit is due; thanks Lidia: made this recently for a bunch of friends (warm, outdoor gathering, rain held off), and they loved it. I added my twists of course: garlic, Calabrian chili paste, and subbed mozzarella and Muenster for the fontina (could not find the latter for some reason--supply chain issues, I guess) and had the former on hand.
