Hi all. This time I want to make a unique item on the theme of my favorite game from childhood, Mario Bros. To create this idea, I decided to take a regular wrench from the store. The most difficult thing in this work is a very small drawing. The multi-layer pattern on the metal adds exclusivity to the wrench. I wonder how much such a unique item could cost? How do you like my work?
Before I started implementing my idea, I needed to sand the wrench with sandpaper. Without thinking twice, I chose the theme for drawing Mario Bros., my favorite characters from a computer game. After drawing a design on the wrench, I began multilayer electrochemical etching on the metal. Step by step, layer by layer, my smallest drawing began to take on the appearance I had hoped for. When I finished etching, I decided to give the drawing some visual volume by blackening the metal. Finally, I decided to protect this unique piece from rust using varnish. I was pleased with the result of this work and I hope you liked it too.
