but how to go upwards? Because if it gets very steep only for short distance, i am afraid of flipping backwards. How can i get more confident riding up a slim steep rocky incline?

Yeah I've sent it too far on a jump on steep sections but I've never sent it like 30 feet straight to my face, that was brutal.

Bad advice. Don’t look very far down the trail y’all. Sometimes you can’t see rolls/drops/root systems that are 30+ ft away so focus on what’s 5-10 ft in front of you while managing your speed.
