Support and trading trading strategies are in my opinion the first that any trader should learn. Daytrading with support and resistance can be more objective than trendlines or moving averages and produce a very good win rate and risk to reward. Here I will show you my strategy for trading support and resistance bounces or retests and improving the win rate by using cumulative delta.
In this video I show trades in /ES futures which can also be used for $SPY and $SPX.
I primarily trade Es (S&P 500) futures. Time frames used are 50k tick for the higher timeframe/primary trend, 10k tick for the intermediate trend, and 2000 tick chart or 1 minute chart for set-ups and entries. Key levels are found using support and resistance and supply and demand.
This presentation is for educational purposes only and the opinions expressed are those of the presenter only. All trades presented should be considered hypothetical and should not be expected to be replicated in a live trading account.
Risk Disclosure: Futures and forex trading contains substantial risk and is not for every investor. An investor could potentially lose all or more than the initial investment. Risk capital is money that can be lost without jeopardizing ones’ financial security or life style. Only risk capital should be used for trading and only those with sufficient risk capital should consider trading. Past performance is not necessarily indicative of future results.
Hypothetical Performance Disclosure: Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.

This has only been my second video from you as I found you last night :). Thanks so much for the great explanations. I 2 quite tiny trades on MYM using the video on scalping with volume profile as I am new to VP as well. Made a small profit quite tiny but I was quite excited as I was able to implement what I learned from that scalping video. To show support I bought another Apex account with your code. Thanks again.

Firstly a huge thanks for such a great videos thus far!! It massively helps me in improving my trading skills. I use vp,delta and vwap for my trading.. I have a question, if I may - when the cumulative delta is making lower low and the price makes higher high (what I assume here is although sellers are trying hard, they can't push the price lower) in this case should I not be looking for a buy trade?

This is a great question. A lot of it depends on overall context, especially higher time frames, and how many other confluences are present in the trade. However, as a general rule of thumb, if delta is divergent against price action like that, I am less likely to take breakout trades to the long side, and more likely to look for pullback type trades if I am trying to be long. In other words, if the Delta is the only thing missing from the set up, and it is a pull back type set up, I will probably take the trade.

Hello firend, thanks for you video, have you made a video regarding Delta absorption?: if the price is moving lower and there is a big negative delta but the price cannot break through that KEY area, it means passive buyers are absorbing the aggressive sellers and price is likely to reverse from here, any examples of this in your trading?

Most importantly I think you should test various exits with your strategy and entries and see what works best for you. In my own testing 1:2 risk:reward has offered the best balance of profits low draw down. Sometimes I drop to 1.5R especially after a losing streak just to book more winners and help my psychology.

Different instruments. One is for MES, the other is for ES. The volume traded is different so different tick sizes are needed.
