Welcome aboard! I do try to keep my trading as simple as possible. You will find there is some subjectivity to it especially when it comes to identifying key levels and zones. The better I identify these areas, the better my overall trading will be. If I make a mistake or miss something in my analysis of key areas, it will cause me to either miss a good trade or take a bad one. So, I put a lot of energy into practicing identifying those key areas to trade from.

@@dpmtrading5723 Thank you. Well, in small time frames like 1 minute sometimes it’s complicated to see price levels (marked with rectangles) that were picked in the 1 or 4 hour time frames. Sometimes they look too wide and seem unrealistic. It’s also hard if we are trying to identify levels in the 1 min chart directly because it’s too noisy, and it makes the mess bigger mixing it all with the larger time frames levels I was talking about. Maybe these are my worst enemies 😅

My current wind rate is about 55%. However, since there is a considerable amount of discretion involved in my trading my personal win rate is not particularly relevant for anybody else.

Only a little bit for context. I’ve spent most of this year simplifying my process. The majority of my edge comes directly from Price action and volume so I’ve tried to remove as much other input from my charts as possible.

Natural teacher. Honest and helpful without a lot of complicated ego filled bs like other videos I recently watched on YT. I stopped paying for $$$ courses. Last one I almost signed up for wanted 6 figures for 80% crap I would never use if I didn’t pass the first part of it or if it never worked and money back guarantee would of been null and void because I wouldn’t be able to finish the rest of the course. In most cases no, I don’t. When I trade I mostly just use price action. I do think that traders should understand how price and volume interact etc because it will help them to understand what is behind the price action etc. but I keep my own charts very simple.

I use it occasionally to get clarity if the price action is sloppy. Most often I case where the volume is in the price action. I try to keep my charts and setups as simple as possible and in most cases adding the profile is just one more thing to look at without adding real edge. At least for me. I think it is important to understand the profile and the relation between volume and price, but ultimately price action is most important

I still keep it on my 1m charts, but after reviewing 100s of my trades I concluded that it wasn’t adding much to my edge and it can be really misleading. 2024 has been all about simplifying my process and funneling my attention to the fewest things that have the biggest impact. Basically price action, support and resistance, market structure, and volume.

@@dpmtrading5723 oh that make sense I risk 4 points but normally I try to take trades where the stop loss make sense and isn’t far from entry I don’t like putting my stop loss in middle of no where so normally the stop loss comes to like 2-3 points max and I try to get loke 3-5 points profit

It’s a tool I was working on creating. I put it on the back burner for now because it was taking time away from focusing on my playbook. Everything was working fine except I was having some bugs particularly when working with a trade copier.

People are so much more apt to desire entertainment than real knowledge and understanding. Well hey, more for us to win, right? Here's to the millions I plan to make with this knowledge and understanding--after trying all the gimmicks. At the end of the day, it all comes down volume as a function of time, volume as a function of price, and their coincidence between probability distribution. Turns out the impression of purely traditional cycles is a bit misleading...

Hey, so instead of this, what do you think about drawing a volume profile on the down move of the pullback, and then going on the lower time frame and looking for the market to break through the hvns in the pullback for entry?

I think anything that helps you see/interpret the price action clearly is good. If watching it with a profile just clicks better for your brain then stick with it.

I am a volume based supply and demand trader trading into imbalance fills , using delta and triple stacked imbalance on footprint as confirmation… with all of that said i target 60-100 ticks per trade… now I am also pretty great at scalping and love your thesis on trade entries based upon delta or delta divergence as it correlates with price action … I am digesting your content because I feel like while I’m being patient for my larger move setup I can be building a nice buffer in my account using this technique. So thank you for all you do for the community in regards to education and your perspective breakdown of your method .. big help …
