My Pixel 7 Pro feels like a good upgrade from my Pixel 6 Pro. I love that it's slightly wider and less curved edges. My battery lasts much longer too.

@@ancientslav4863 After using both for a bit honestly they just feel like completely different phones. My P6 Pro would get super hot, battery was terrible outside of super battery saver and I would have accidental edge touches (not anymore). Now I seem to get better service, the small changes in dimensions make the P7 Pro much nicer to hold, button placement was slightly moved making it more natural to get to the buttons, get almost all day out of the battery, better speakers and ect. Sometimes small things a big difference. Basically a whole different experience for me.

@@lightninggod4348 I had 0 accidental edge touches, 0 issues, always good reception, battery... Phone is 99% the same. What you say about milimeter button placement is complete nonsense. Better speakers? Don't know about that. P6p has good speakers. Size, shape and weight is almost the same phone. Sounds the same. Battery life is 95% the same. Experience is the same. Sometimes p6p had better photos, sometimes p7p.

@@ancientslav4863 I can only tell you my experience. Bought both phones outright and couldn't wait to get rid of my P6 Pro. I tried to like it just couldn't. Battery is definitely better for me and I'm a heavy user. My speakers were very one sided with bass and the other side was tinny on the P6 Pro plus not very loud. The Samsung S21+ speakers blew both of them out of the water however. Downloaded an app to try and balance the speakers on the P6 Pro that helped slightly, but not much. My fingers naturally rest on the buttons now when I pick the phone up without shifting my position as to where before they did not. That could be because of my hand size. I had dbrand grip cases for both phones. Recently I grabbed the old case to get rid of it since it was collecting dust in a drawer and I instantly felt the difference. Again this is my user experience yours sounds different. Glad it worked for you, but it didn't for me. Battery and speakers I could have had a dud. Sadly I'll never know I just don't have these issues on the P7 Pro I now have. Only things I'd change about the P7 Pro would be give it a flat screen and a microc SD card slot.

Yea i heard people say that the 7 pro is not made for performance but its still almost as fast

Brighter display is only good for people who use them regularly outside. In a car, for example, its enough to have even 400nits. And most of us use their phones under at least some roofing, indoors, where I specifically even use the google pixel dimmer setting called "Extra dim". So a better brightness is OK, but not all need it + it drains battery a lots' outside.

The P6P is not updated to android 13 the navigation bar and google search app shows that, it will be a fair comparison if both are running the same software

I think Google tunes the Pixel 7 pro processor to boost more conservatively to address the heat and battery life issue. That's why it's slower.

my Saturday pa has a normal pixel 6 she upgraded this time last year i think she was looking to upgrade this year to the currant latest and greatest pixel🤔 sometime her pixel 6 doesn't have any internet but i think that's rare upgraded from a 6s iPhone that was her previous phone

Shoppin for an upgrade for a 5 yo phone. 6 pro looks very attractive for the price. Does anyone know if it has deep flaws or things that make it fail abruptly? I only need it to last and have a good battery.

many fundamental improvements on the 7 pro, software limitations on 6 pro makes it a lesser phone cos the hardware is almost the same 7pro way better fp scanner way brighter screen face unlock 4k60fps on all camera(4k60only on main camera on 6pro) better responsive night sight wider ultrawide camera 0.5 vs 0.7 on 6 pro further telephoto zoom x5 vs x4 on 6pro

There are pixel 6 pro's refurbished on ebay for £350 very good condition. Should I get that as the pixel 7 pro is at least £600 refurbished or should i get something like a S21 ultra for £450 or an Iphone 12 pro max for £475? Also put in mind I want to keep the phone for a good 4 years

I have a 6pro but I broke the screen. Think I'm going to buy the 6pro again for nearly half the price in the State's compared to the 7pro. Hadn't really considered the Samsung.
