@@Jennifer-iv7ewMines still going strong, it’s still fast and the battery still lasts long. Everything I need it to do it does perfectly fine I don’t seem the need to upgrade until it stops being supported.

@@Rae-vc8cm….as long as it’s still being updated by iOS. You can get some great deals on an iPad 8th generation. My wife has an iPad 6th generation, and it still works great!

@@hhenree yeah, I had good experience with Amazon renewed with an Apple Watch Series 6 so I would like to buy from Amazon again. I can get a SE for around $140, and I can get a X for around $220.

I have the 8th in 2024 some of the iOS 16 updates were terrible and made some apps bug out but now with 17+ iOS it’s been fine. Resolution on KZfaq at 720p is the best experience. You can go up but it’s going to lag. 🤷🏾‍♀️I personally feel like I can hold on to this for 2-3 more years until I upgrade to iPad Pro for. Most people get iPad for procreate I’m still getting upgrades from the App Store & can download procreate dreams if I wanted to. So if you can afford iPad 8 I’d get it iPad 9 doesn’t seem like such a huge improvement to justify the up charge if you have the money to get an iPad 10 do it! Better media experience but yea if your broke but want procreate/paint get iPad 8th it still hold up in 2024 & is still being updated.

Hi I have iPad 8 on ios17.4 & it’s fine but around 16ios it was terrible but now it’s fine. No game lag,KZfaq quality best at 720p but other then that 🤷🏾‍♀️seems like an okay choice in 2024
