Just talking to my wife of 43 years. We live in Idaho and watch your videos as fast as they come "wish there were more" and we were discussing channels that deceive you with their content and use click bait constantly. We had to tell you how much we love and appreciate your content, honesty, information and wholesomeness of your channel and lives together. Hope nothing but the best for you and all you do. Keep them coming. We see and realize the amount of work you do in everything. Bless you.

I love how well you always take care of your animals. We only have a long haired Syrian hamster (he started out as my daughter's 4-H project) who is incredibly spoiled. We grow microgreens for him, groom him, he has a sand bath and special toys, etc. And his cage is pretty much a palace at this point. My husband said if they made a Serta perfect mattress for hamsters that he'd probably have one. 😂

A professional tip for painting in the future is to always thin your paint out with some water. This will help you apply the color because of the higher viscosity. You won't struggle as much and the roller will like it and not come off the handle.

5* chicken coop, lovely to see people go the extra mile in the care of their animals! Also little tip, you can use artificial grass on the perches to create gentle and uneaven surfaces on the chickens feet. It can help prevent bumble foot especially when the weather gets cold and damp again and their perched in the same position with constant pressure on certain areas of their feet for longer periods of time. :)

I have had the pleasure of following your journey to Alaska some years ago thank you both, your work ethic reminds me of my wife and myself fifty years ago from the big city of Birmingham to a rural part of Shropshire three children, nothing so extreme as Alaska with but we made it in the end we made a beautiful life for our family, married for sixty years three children fifteen grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren very productive ha ha . Wishing you both all the luck in the world. Best wishes Bill & Sylvia Starling & family.❤

Geesh, are you a bee whisperer? I wonder if the bees are lethargic or you’re just a brave woman ❤ Love seeing you get that tractor dirty, lol

Right?! After applying oxalic acid to my hives today, in full gear plus a respirator, I’m a little jealous. And we live in Wisconsin! Even in May, my bees require my bee jacket and pants. 😊🐝🐓

Your chickens are very privileged to be living in such a beautiful coop, and chicken run! 🐓🐔👌As usual you've done a very good, and thorough job. It's nice to see the snow melting at long last, you can hopefully carry on with more outdoor projects. Good luck 🍀😊♥️

The coop is amazing! The lush green is perfect on the back wall. Looks like the roost may need to be extended if you get any more chicks. Well done. Shorts and tee-shirts in the snow only in Alaska.

you might want to put a net over the top of the chicken coup to keep eagles & hawks from stealing your chickens.

I'm in the process of painting osb in my cabin, and it is a real pain. In some places it has 3 layers of paint. I'm painting on the shiny side. The chickens have a beautiful place to live.♥️🇺🇲

It makes me happy to see that you created a warm, safe place for your chickens for the winters their. I just hate seeing animals out in the cold, or not protected from a harsh element. Bravo….

Tip from a professional painter, ANY time you are using a roller to paint large flat surfaces, buy a simple wooden extension pole that screws into the end of the roller handle. A 4 foot one for sure, but also a 6 foot one for overhead surfaces. It may seem awkward at first, but be patient. The use of the leverage it gives you makes the painting go much faster and there is less fatigue on your arms and body. You can cover and fill in uneven surfaces, crevices and butt joints easier with the added leverage of the pole extension.
