I have been following your channel. Ever since I stumbled upon your massive potato harvest video a few years ago. I love your content and particularly love your gardening videos. It’s my favorite time of the year. Thank you for sharing your journey. It’s absolutely amazing. I’m very much looking forward for the next vid.

Try black spruce tips for tea and syrup, and white spruce for more tangy recipes. I noticed they do definitely smell quite different. I made a aioli out of white spruce that was pretty tasty.

Those leggy, shrivelled potatoes should do absolutely fine! I planted out a piece of potato that I had grown in water until it had green leaves when I was a kid, and it grew potatoes! I’ve seen some pretty gnarly potatoes that looked wilder than yours planted out with good success

Onions love nitrogen because the bulb is actually a modified underground stem, and as you know, stem and leaf growth is promoted with nitrogen!

I was referring to all brassicas. If they bolt use the buds and flowers for stir fry or for cooking with other things or for salads.

FYI, if you plant cabbage tye crops and they bolt right away, you can use the flowers and buds in stir fry and salads and they are really delicious! Buds taste like broccoli.

Id put a couple of neodymium magnets on the gate to give it a little resistance so if an animal did push against it, it wouldn't swing open. They are impressively strong for their size

Did you guys think of just placing the potatoes on the soil top and then piling up straw to let them grow up in the hay? I have seen several people use this method and they had great results. Just a thought

I live in Wasilla and make kefir also. Where are you getting your raw milk from? I’m currently using a whole milk bought at 3 Bears from up north. I have had great success with this milk and have doubled my grains in a short time. But I would like to start using raw milk and something with a little more fat. Thanks

Hi guys, something i learned from another channel...sharpies fade in the sunlight and you end up with tags that have nothing on them. Try getting a UV resistant marker to use on your tags so you will end up knowing what you planted in the end 😊

The garden is really coming together! For your own peace of mind I am wondering if you would think about putting a lock of some type on your garden gate at night? I would hate to see you come out one morning to find a moose locked in your garden area.😢
