Dad, Jallikattu is a traditional sport in Tamilnadu. The ultimate purpose for this sport is to preserve the native breed and to tell the world that the Tamilians are the highly spirited warriors. The was a huge protest in 2017 against banning of jallikattu. Finally people won. If you have time go through the history of jallikattu and the protest in 2017. It is amazing.

Jallikattu is a game to celebrate Bulls. If bull escapes without no one grasping it, that bull is the real winner. Bulls are appreciated more than participants. I love the slow mo shots. Commentaries are also my fav part.

There are 2 types of bulls, some come out and dash forward! Thats like bullet-speed. Then there are bulls which are slow and if you try to hold on to them, theyl spin. For the first kind, you have to hold on till the finish line, and for the 2nd kind its 3 spins, holding the hump. Then there are some bulls, they are like the G.O.A.Ts, they are legends, they come out, play like they love it. Those bulls are like the best to watch. For example, Ravanan bull owned by Ms. Anuradha, Sub Inspector Police, Pudhukottai ; Sambranipatti Temple Bull, PR's Kaari, Appu etc.
