Please do some real „different“ styles. I love rock, metal and pop. But there is more. Try something exotic, maybe K-pop or Indian music. You could expand tremendously your audience. Or try with some Jessye Norman who passed one or two years ago.

Eddie Van Halen is the best in my book. He and his brother, Alex on drums, were classically trained prize winning pianists by age 10. Eddie could play anything, including keys, drums, his dad's clarinet and sax, cello (Jan his dad, was pro musician from Amsterdam). Eddie was a prodigy, who changed guitars, built his own, revolutionized the industry with his patents. I truly miss his presence here. If you listen to Eruption it will blow your mind. That is the great Eddie Van Halen 1955 to 2020 RIP EDDIE ! Eddie wasn't the greatest just because he could play,but because he built his own guitar and, painted it like no other and tweaked it to create his own personal guitar sound. He built his own guitar amps for sound too. He had a style of playing all of his own. That's what makes him one of the greatest 😉. He also did the guitar solo for Michael Jackson's song Beat It

I love seeing someone have the VanHalen experience for the first time. Thanks for sharing. During their heyday one of the most popular bands in the world. Jimi Hendrix and Eddie VanHalen are arguably the most influential electric guitarists ever. Everyone who has played electric guitar since owes at least a small debt of gratitude to these two unparalleled greats.

Asnoted Edfdie Van Halen is the lead guitarist for the band founded by him and David Lee Roth. Eddie was such a good guitarist that the King of Pop, Michael Jackson asked Eddie Van Halen to play the guitar solo in his hit song Beat It.

Great video. I always love to see first-time viewers to Van Halen. Without exception, every video share-professional critique of Van Halen’s video has been in open-mouthed “amazement” due to the band’s talent along with David Lee Roth’s athletic ability and their obvious joy at making their signature video, “Jump” a true classic.

Happy Monday beautiful queen! Now you're definitely taking me back to my childhood. And this was the first Van Halen song I've heard when my mom had it on the 45 (remember them? The good old days of records and vinyl) record. And you're absolutely right, the video and song is from the 80s. And the guitarist is Eddie Van Halen, who passed away not too long ago and he also played the guitar solo on Michael Jackson's "Beat It"

There were a lot of "Hair Metal" bands in the 80's, but Van Halen had true talent. They literally blew up the music scene when they arrived, because no one was expecting them. Talented musicians with a great look. Who knew? (Check out "Dance the Night Away")

No, Michael Anthony is not his brother. Yes, his brother Alex is on drums. He later replaced Michael with his son, Wolfgang.

You are right, this song was recorded in 1984, but Van Halen had been around since 1978 I think. The great Eddie Van Halen (Guitar ) just died of cancer at age 65 a couple of months ago. His Brother Alex Van Halen is the drummer.

Hi simply k. Yes the guitarist was eddie van halen yes as one of the other post responded he passed away he was married to tv actress valerie bertinelli of one day at a time, and hot in cleveland. The lead singer was david lee roth. My wife and I would like to wish you and your family. A very merry Christmas and a happy new year 2021. This is off the 1984 album 1984 This is the last albums with David Lee Roth the vocalists Before he was kicked out. Guitarist is Eddie Van Halen just passed away. The guitarist is Eddie van halen and drummer Alex are brothers. They originaly play the other instrument then they switched. Michael Anthony on Bass. Lead vocal David Lee Roth took martial arrs that is where the flexibility cones from.

Jump by Van Halen was written and released in 1984. Eddie Van Halen was the lead guitarist and synthesizer player. Eddie Van Halen designed all his own guitars and wrote songs. David Lee Roth was the front man and lead singer for Van Halen. David Lee Roth studied Martial Arts during that time and that's why he is so athletic and flexible. Alex Van Halen played the drums. Michael Anthony played the Bass guitar. Just remember the line from Bob Seger " Today's music just doesn't have the same soul" from Old time Rock and Roll. RIP Eddie Van Halen. Eddie VH had to be the "happiest" guitarist of that era. And David Lee Roth was a sexpot and knew it. We lost our minds over him back in the day. And his antics (acrobatics) were amazing. Didn't hurt that he was into martial arts, lol.

This was 1984. Again, a band my sons introduced me to. Eddie Van Halen was the lead guitarist, the other guitarist was Michael Anthony. The drummer was Eddie’s brother and the singer was David Lee Roth.
