The pi in the calculator means 3.14 but in the function pi refers to 180° isnt it? Doesn't it make difference?

in most engineering calculations, pi is 3.14 radian. not 180 degree.

its only a matter of what input format your calculator uses. which is why you need to accordingly switch it to radian before calc if you're using pi, else you've to switch to 180 manually and enter values as such.

For simpson's Rule, n must be even.if n is not given in the question it is probably not for Simpson rule. If you want to try take n to be large even number. Probably n equal to 20 is large enough.
