In this video lesson, we will cover the simulation aspects of the Wilkinson power divider model. An inbuilt Ansys HFSS 3D Layout example file of Wilkinson power divider is simulated and then exported into Ansys HFSS with a single click. A lumped RLC boundary will be used to define the lumped resistor added to the output arms, then a comparison of results is presented to study the effect of this lumped resistor. We will also show a technique to shift the resonance frequency to a desired value.
