As a child in the late 90s I remember flying Singapore airlines economy and they served Magnum ice creams bars for desert! Still one of my favorite air travel memories. As an adult it makes me so sad to see the current state of economy class across almost airlines (except maybe Emirates and Qatar). Enjoyed this video so much!

Dan, this is a great video. Singapore Airlines keeps turning out a brilliant product, year after year. Had a chance to fly their business class product pre-COVID, and it was phenomenal.

The last flight I took before pandemic was a Singaporean Airlines flight from Indonesia to Japan and back to Indonesia again. While I was nowhere near the first class, the economy class itself is a step up compared to other airlines I've tried before (Qantas, Eva Air, Thai Airways, Cathay Pacific, Malaysia Airlines, and our own Garuda Indonesia). Service was top notch and food was great. Never had any bad or disappointing experience with Singapore Airlines.

This video made me so teary, as an ex employee of SIA I can truly say that they will go beyond the call off duty not because they are forced to but because they want to! SIA is simply the best, not just in first or business but in economy as well. As always love your video's and wish you and Oscar all the best! 💙 Can't wait for your next video.

Great video as always. I personally think Singapore airlines is the best. My first experience ( several years ago) was a last min work trip from Paris to Singapore. Flew first class on a B747 400. Then my first experience with caviar and vodka. Being a star alliance member on united. Each time I had to go to Singapore i selected Singapore airlines. At that time around the world fare was awesome. Then came nonstop from Newark to Singapore.

I flew the old SQ A380 suite several years ago SIN-FRA-JFK. I think it was only 99,000 miles in those days. This certainly is quite an upgrade over that suite. The suites lounge at SIN is pretty awesome

I won't forget the memorable experience I had on Singapore Airlines from Calcutta to Singapore back in February 2015 while I was flying in economy class. Menu's in economy class, hot meals and especially the top notch service with Singapore Airlines. Can't wait to fly on Air Canada Executive Class going to Victoria from Ottawa in mid June for my summer vacation, and not to mention a complimentary upgrade on my ticket.

Wow how weird. When the safety video started playing it got me very emotional. It's been too long since I've been able to visit my family in the UK, and we normally fly Singapore. That video was a hard reminder of how long it has been, and how happy it used to make me feel knowing I was only a flight away from seeing my family and friends.

We flew singapore airline in 2010 economy sgp to london..and my young daughters age 10 and 15yo, had a wonderful experience. The crew were so kind and kept their food while they were asleep n served later...served them endless snacks n goodies too. The chief cabin crew even made some animal out of the handtowels..so so talented.

Flying this in July to FRA from JFK. Flew FRA to JFK on the a350 earlier this year in business class and it was a wonderful experience. Easily the best airline I've ever flown and it's not even close.

My VERY best flight experiences was flying Singapore Airline, MEL to Paris rtn, via Singapore. Way back in pre covid days in April 2019. The staff were outstanding, which out shone the business class i was traveling in.

Great video! I loveeee Singapore airlines! To think Lufthansa and SQ is both 5 star airlines is mind boggling to me. I live in a city in Germany where travelling to the big hubs like Frankfurt or Munich is not that convenient. However, I tried to always book with SQ when travelling home to Thailand. Yes, it's longer and I have to transit twice but it's much better to only take 1 short domestic LH flight and the transit to SQ for the main part than taking long haul LH all the way to Thailand. And SQ doesn't even cost that much more most of the time. I always enjoy SQ flights. LH is mediocre at best.

We booked into the new suites from Singapore to Mumbai, but unfortunately they had a last minute plane change so we were in the previous suites. Somewhat mixed feelings about it but glad we experienced a previous generation classic. Crew is always top notch having tried economy, premium economy, business, and first. My favorite airline!

You should try it from Singapore Changi and especially once the new Private Room is ready. The ground experience will be totally different.
