My new machine won’t insert the needle through when I use the needle lever. No clue why. This video is so great but I can’t seem to get my machine to catch the thread an make a loop😭

I have this same machine and it's brand new. I did it just like the video and it worked perfectly and a week later the bobbin is not coming up. The bobbin won't come up and instead the top thread gets tangled up in the bobbin holder and the bobbin jumps out sometimes. Can you please help me out?

The part about threading the needle does not cover anything, it simply is not working as you can read from other comments.
