Talk about a killer voice…Jon Bon has a great ability to sing with emotion and be a great show man; moving around that stage with passion and grandeur. Goals! Taking a quick switch from Pink Floyd’s awesome catalogue and feeling a different rock and roll energy. I really enjoyed this song.

@@ParryAce Richie Sambora is a phenomenal guitarist and singer. He and Jon Bon Jovi wrote most of the Bon Jovi songs together. Richie left Bon Jovi in 2013 after over 30 years with the band. Prior to that, in 1991, he released a solo album. I suggest checking out Richie's solo song called 'Ballad of Youth.' It really showcases both his guitar playing and singing. He has released two other solo albums since then. Here is the link if you ever want to check it out: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ndxojcR1xNWqoHk.html

Dry county is probably one of their best performances ever very underrated song. But some people don't know the background to this song so I'll give you a little bit of advice or tell you about it this has to do when he was traveling on his motorcycle through parts of the United States where there are counties in the South like Texas and all that those places where the county has no liquor whatsoever you have to go to a different county to even get booze and if you do get any alcohol it's usually moonshine OK so that's the reason for this song. He took 2 trips him and his wife Dorthea across country from New Jersey all the way across country I don't know where he landed on the West Coast or how far he went but it was a 2 months trip On his motorcycle no less. And he did it twice before they started having kids their 1st child was born in 93 Jon was married in April of 1989. When he came back from his trip he wrote the soundtrack for young it's too which also has some great music on it. I've been a Bon Jovi fan for Obama's 40 years and I happen to be Almost 71. My birthday is 4 days before Jon's in February Jon's is mark 2nd. At the time when runaway 1st came out which was his 1st single I was already 32 years old and around the music business in California, so I had friends that were musicians . I also grew up in the same area that singer Steve Perry from journey is from In fact we were only about 15 to 20 minute drive apart from each other. I would suggest try watching "keep the faith" the one i think it was a MTV show. Around 1992 or 93. Right after he cut his Gorgeous long hair off.

Thank you so much for your reaction ❤ for us Bon Jovi die hard fans it's always a pleasure to see thoughtful reactions to lesser known songs. For me, Dry County is really their Opus -the song where talent, experience and freedom to create all came together 😊 Thank you so much. Keep reacting to them, please. Love from Portugal ❤❤

The cutaways are what was shown in parts on the screens. I suppose it's the music video, I'm not positive since I mainly watch the live performances. I recommend watching Always live from Wembley Stadium in 1995. A recommendation I would give for more Bon Jovi stuff would be a live performance of Always. The performance from Wembley Stadium in 1995 is legendary, but I would say you also can't go wrong with the performance in Cleveland in 2013. That was one of Richie Sambora's (the lead guitarist from 1982-2013) last shows with the band. Those are the two that I would recommend most because it's the era of Jon's best singing capabilities and more great solo's from Richie. A recommendation I would give after those would be to check out their performance of Always from Wembley Stadium in 2019. Jon's voice has deteriorated substantially but he still gives a passionate performance. The main attraction though would be the Guitar solo from Phil X, who became the lead guitarist after Richie Sambora left in 2013. It's a phenomenal show of his talent and abilities. I think you would really be able to appreciate that since you really like solo's.

I think you'd really appreciate some his new work, a couple tracks to get u started, which are lyrically powerful AF are "American Reckoning " (about George Floyd's death/ murder) and another directly about the pandemic called " do what you can" . Please please please give these a listen and I'm extremely curious to know what u think of these two songs 🎵. Not only are they socially incredibly relevant today, but they go where not many others are going. They really hit me in my feels, frfr! Thanks!

There seem to be three different video reactors... 1. The, "K, thanks, like and subscribe!" reactors who give you absolutely nothing. 2. The musicianship reactors, that delve into the technical aspect of the song exclusively. 3. The reactors who focus on superficial things like the video presentation, not the song itself. I would put yours in the second category, but out of the roughly 50 or so reactors I've seen, it's only that couple from India who are willing to go in depth into what the song did for them, how it made them feel, what the lyrics mean to them and/or how they interpret them, as well as some of its technical qualities or lackings. I really think all these things must be included in every reaction honestly ( of the roughly 500 reaction videos I've seen, I may have seen 4 that were negative, I doubt that only two were received negatively in honesty), it seems common sense that this is really what we come to see, but I guess it could just be me. All the best, this was the first video I saw of yours, great choice!

@ParryAce, Nice review. The Bon Jovi rabbit hole is a long one so prepare yourself bro, lol I recommend you check out Bon Jovi’s live performance of Always, at Hyde Park 2011. Richie’s guitar solo is a bewwwdy! kzfaq.info/get/bejne/q7mBqJeWy7Gtpo0.html IMO the performance of this song at Wembley 1995 is better vocally, but the 2011 version has the guitar solo you’ll want to see, vocals are great too.

@@edgabrielocay3376 he did not beg Jon; he was doing just fine on his own! There wouldn’t be Living on a Prayer without Richie because Jon didn’t want it. Most of the songs Richie helped write so not sure where that comment even comes from. 🤔🙄
