You mean Master Igor Krutoy. A legendary song writer from Russia who came out of retirement to work with Dimash. Indeed he did wright "Ogni Pietra" and the beautiful lyrics from that song are from: Lilia Vinogradova.

Frets, I loved your comment. You are not the only straight guy who loves Dimash in a way that is unique to Dimash---and is nothing to be worried about, or ashamed. Well, I don't think ANYONE should be ashamed about who they love, and how. But there is so much goodness in him, and he creates such beauty in our lives. I can't believe my good fortune in being on this earth at the same time he's here! I used to suffer from severe depression, and shortly after I started listening to Dimash, the depression went away. To me, it was a miracle. My children (who are grown) initially worried because I spent so much time listening to Dimash, and communicating with reactors, etc. Then, when they saw the change in me, saw me in good spirits, and functioning happily for the first time in many years, they were glad to acknowledge that it was doing me good! They are so relieved, and so am I!

I think you got it precisely right! I don't know of anyone else who has come sharing a beautiful talent (plus lots of hard work) and seeing the recipients of it, turn into better, happier, more loving people.

I agree, except that sometimes it seem to me that some of the new Krutoy songs are very dark and edgy, for such a young singer. However, I would't have wanted to miss Ogni Pietra. It's a classic, epic, all the major profound and substantial descriptors.
