I think I’ve said before on your channel that songs sung in Spanish have a uniqueness about them. This gentleman’s performance gives no reason for me to change my opinion. Personally, I prefer this particular song without a translation…I just let the Spanish language and the music do its work. Excellent.

You are right... I don't really enjoy when artists try to translate Spanish songs into other languages. My native language is Spanish and the translated songs do not sound the same. The Spanish language is very rich and the translations do not do justice to the Spanish versions

I saw my very first classical music concert at Bellas Artes while on vacation. I was 7 years old and it was 1975. Henryk Szering with the Philarmonic of the Americas. The hall has amazing acoustics.

wHEN HE MADE THE SONG OF amor eterno he made it for an actress and singer from Spain her name is , ROCIO DURCAL, SHE SINGS THE SONG PRETTY MUCH LIKE HIM but he knew it would be a big hit because he wrote many songs for her for many years, but then again when he sings it alone he just breaks it because all the words are his, his pain his mourning everything , you see his mother abandoned him at the age of like 4 or 5 yrs old and she just didnt want him , so she gave him away and he pretty much grew up on his own by himself, and it turnss out he ended up in an Orphange where he met this older man who gave him a guitar and this is how he learns to play music, he made his own music, oh his story is so beautiful and touching

This song is from lates 90's I was a kid the first time I heard it and nothing was the same to me after that. 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 I'm glad that you have the lyrics for this powerful song and hopes for a reaction of "Amor eterno" (Eternal love/Forever love) song dedicated to his mom who abandoned him when he was a kid but he can find her when he grow up and becomes famous. 😭
