I was there that night and literally bawled during most of Piece By Piece and I agree that I never expected to hear it. Also having Rock Hudson on the same night made a lot of sense. I got to give her a hug during Breakaway and it was literally one of the best nights of my life. Everyone was so into the concert the entire time. Incredible.

I am 70 yrs. young and at 50 I found American Idol and the gift of Kelly Clarkson. Topher you are the gift I got by finding your reactions to our Queen. She has always been fierce and it was great to see her in Vegas renewed. Kelly says she is ready for next 20 year That would make me 90 but I am game for it😅

Kelly sings Because of you every night. Last night (Wed). She got quite choked up at the end. In fact she was emotional most of she evening. In a good way. The crowd was. VERY supportive which made is more meaningful. If I am not mistaken, the next sing after Because of you was Me and she missed the first line and waited a few more bars before coming in. The Band is so GREAT that they are able to sustain the music until she is ready…. Just AWESOME!!!!

I went the same night as you on opening night. idk if you remember but i did introduce myself, the woman in the wheelchair.... anyway I agree it seems this night was the night of all the hits but opening night was cool too. One day I will hear beautiful disaster live and cry my face off. I absolutely love our Kelly fans. The audience was amazzing singing all the lyrics and giving her all the love.... i love how in this reaction you saying cmon you can do it. i do the same thing when she gets emotional. I love the lyric changes and this is definetly the anthem of her career and like you said the perfect bookend with rh.Thank you again for doing these reactions of our girl

I’m sure it was hard for her to sing Piece By Piece even with the new lyric changes. I was shocked when I saw it posted. I’m glad she did though! Love her so much ❤

congratulations topher ❤ i was recording up in the poor people😊 section , the balcony front row, i almost dropped my phone to the main level when she started switching the lyrics. rock hudson was rough to be honest. so was lighthouse. im sure she’ll figure it out. she always does. i almost want them to slow the tempo down a little in lighthouse so she has space to take a breather. she did sing because of you as usual that night but yeah, if there was a night to come, it was that night! beautiful disaster, low, p2p, rock hudson. i was dying 😢 she hasnt done chemistry. i have 2 more saturdays to go. i got rock hudson, i want down to you. but i NEED skip this part. i have 2 front seat on the balcony for the next 2 saturdays, so i would get great vids again for the next 2 saturdays
