Hello, I’m from Brazil! The story behind this song is very interesting: The band that accompanies Dimash is the same one that composed the song, without the singer who died after a heart attack! The band is also from Kazakhstan and this performance by Dimash revitalized the song. In addition, the final part he added, with an oriental technique. The triangle man is multi-percussionist Ilya Pokrovsky, a very talented man and a close friend of Dimash and member of the Dimash team (DQ Team). He plays various percussion instruments and accompanies Dimash in all his concerts. Someone explained that the special tribal riff is something practiced in Kazakhstan, Mongolia, and other parts of Asia. A similar technique is also used in some parts of the Middle East. It is referred to by some as a "glottal stop". We use it too when we say "uh oh". A Kazakh KZfaqr commented that Dimash used a Kazakh singing technique, called 'komeymen aytu'. You can hear it among the Turan Group. Saha people Rus) uses this technique too; they called it 'kylyhah'. I read somewhere that the tribal vocalization was a tribute to the deceased singer, as it is similar to a technique usually used by women in Kazakh funeral ceremonies. Since this concert, he has been collaborating with Dimash, writing music with his vocal range in mind, and often accompanying him on the piano. So you'll see more of him. It must be very satisfying for him to sit down and compose music without constraints (limitations by ordinary singers). High notes, low notes, whatever his genius mind can conceive, Dimash will achieve. There is another performance of this song of one of his more recent concerts. Yeah, he went from mid-low baritone to the top soprano note in some of the best operas - e6. Your reaction was sensitive and observant. I have not heard a voice like his in my whole life, and I remember back to when the Carpenters were popular. How? It reads like a 20 year conspiracy to shock you, me and many other people (a few billion). Check out his back story, it's amazing. You should see the faces on the contestants at his first big competition on the Chinese "I Am Singer" competition.

You should have started with SOS and Opera2. I would come here and watch you react to his songs in order and i know it's not just me. He went on a show in China called "Singer 2017" established famous people competed against each other so nothing like American idol. The order of the songs worth reacting to is "SOS d'un terrien en détresse","Opera 2, "Queens, The Show Must Go On". Reason i say this is because you can watch him mature and attempt things he didn't before, like sing in English, Mandarin, etc watching this first is kinda like skipping to mid season of a show. Either way great reaction. His range is A1-D8 if you're interested. His whistles can probably kill people.

It's not an original , but the band to originally play it are accompanying him (minus the deceased singer ).His range on this song was F-2 to E-6 , but his vocal fry can take him down to A-1 and he has sang the highest note ever performed live a D-8 ! This is the festival "New Wave" in Sochi (Russia). There was a competition of young performers and concerts of Russian artists. Dimash acted as a guest at the jubilee concert of the Kazakh group "A-studio". Baigali Serkebaev - the author of the song - plays the piano here. It was a phenomenal performance! Superb low notes at the beginning, unreal high notes at the end. And again the oriental tones in the song! Melismа in the finale together with the last "Дай" - 23 seconds! Dear Collabstreet, Clearly you know how amazing Dimash's singing is, since you are making these reaction videos (which I very much appreciate). As a new Dear, my joy is in seeing a new person's amazement and joy AS they are watching each unique moment of the video. However, by cutting up and splicing her reactions together at the end, you are denying me, and other Dears who feel as I do, the exact moments we are here to watch. By grouping her best reactions at the end of the video, I don't know what part of Dimash's singing touched her the most, what part amazed her the most, and at what moment it dawned on her that she is probably watching the best singer in the world. PLEASE do not cut and splice any more Dimash reaction videos this way. At least for me, I would much rather watch her stop the video multiple times so I can see the exact moment of Dimash's performance she is reacting to, than group her reactions at the end. Thank you!
