This one is the most beautiful rendition of this song and I'm being listening for many years, I'm 65. He impersonated the God of Music and he is really mad with humans that are entertained with silliness, instead of listening or creating beauty with his instruments. The music they are creating is soo useless that nobody hear it, is like they are creating "silence". He is the first singer that make me, MAKE ME listen to the lyrics. He shocked my shoulders and ask me, "DO YOU GET IT"? Love his angry God face.

To see them embrace the feeling going through them in the same places the piece of music grabbed me. When people keep stopping a piece of music, they can't totally grasp the total power of it as it was meant to flow from one stage to the next plateau! I enjoyed sharing this with you! He was so focused and calm as he commanded/demanded attention to the meaning of the song. The details of his performance were also amazing. The body language... he sang to the entire audience as he looked to left and right, the clinched fist and the thankful prayer-like bow at the end was majestic. The best cover performance I’ve ever seen. No other band or singer can touch this rendition, period. So many comments have compared David’s version to many others especially Pentatonix’s version. They did a great job, but it just didn’t stack up to David’s imho. I’ll probably catch some bad comments for that, but that’s fine. Peace

This man was fighting the flu he's a metal singer and you need to see down with the sickness you will be able to see what they really sound like. My favorite song is stricken . Have a good time with this rabbit hole . Peace from Stan the Alaskan.

I always love it when he goes into the growl, because youtube reactors ALWAYS smile. It catches them off-guard, and they love it.

He was not sick nor recovering for vocal surgery those are all rumors that David Draiman has dispelled in severl interviews. He did mention he was extremely nervous because of Conan's viewership and the great respect he has for Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel.

When he sang this live version, he had the flu and had been in the hospital but didn’t want to let his fans down, so he left just to do this , then went back to the hospital. Respect!

I was ten when Simon n Garfunkle released it. And to this day one of my favorites of all time. I am a musician and am a metal guy. Been a Disturbed since they hit the air. This version is stellar and of all the reviews i have watched, they seem very respectful and really enjoyed this version. Where others seem to grapple with the hidden desire of relevency but come across as clueless
