Unfortunately the press manipulates what she says to make her seem desperate and cranky. One clear example is that when she made the "I rather kill myself than being Mariah Carey" comment she was referring to how she rather kill herself than going through what Mariah was going at the time (which you can investigate and see that it was horrible). The "Reductive" comment was about how she felt that Gaga ripped her song. Gaga said that she "contacted" Madonna's management to ask permission to sample the song for Born this way, but we don't know if it is true. I don't even know why I keep on writting stuff, but what I want people to see is that Madonna is a real artist and you have to pay attention to her work and see that no one can even come close the amount of creativity she has and what she has done for the music industry. You should look for interviews that she did for Primetime in 1995, Oprah in 2003, Ray Martin in 1995 and One2One in the same year, also the 2015 interview for Howard Stern so you can understand her and see the pain that she carries inside and how it has molded her into what she is today.
