The only way to improve your hangtime is to jump higher. The higher you jump the longer you stay in the air. Extremely simple. There is no special technique or body positioning that will increase this.

the average human jump height is 1.5 feet. However, I just bought Coach Donny’s body weight vertical jump program, I’ve increased my vertical 2 inches in just two weeks. I highly recommend it. Your air time will increase as well

Coach I'm 177cm 75kg an my highest reach is 280 and i really want to play volleyball but my jump is too low I've watched your vids and tried other things yet nothing seems to work and I really want to play volleyball but my friends say my vert is wayyy too low... So am I missing something something??? Thanks from Phillipines.

Sprinting and jump rope gets you a long way. You want to build fast twitch muscle fibers. Consider doing plyometrics. However, I would recommend that you first get used to jumping frequently before you start

Do jumpsquats. If you can at least dunk or grab rim you're jumping at a decent height. Just focus on the technical aspect of spiking like tooling and tips rather than overpowering the defense.

I have tryouts in 4 weeks and I’ve never played volleyball before. I would have joined a club if it wasn’t for the virus. I got a ball and started doing all of these training exercises but I’m worried I won’t make it because of experience. What can I do?

Hi Coach Donny, I've been watching your videos (especially the footwork and the arm movement one for jumping). I'm about 177 and my reach is around 310. My reach is 222 cm and I can grab the regulation rim. However, when it comes to spiking, I can't seem to jump as high. Maybe it is a psychological thing? Is there anything I should do to jump higher for a spike?
