I met Amanda and her kids at a Skoolie Swarm event last year. Those are the hardest working teenagers I've ever met. They are so polite, and they jump in to help wherever needed. Amanda and crew have created a beautiful and functional home on wheels! I'm so happy for them.

One of the things I appreciate the most about Jenna's channel (and the skillful people who work with her) is that it covers a wide range of budgets and personal styles. Aspirational inspiration is good, but so is showing how to do more with less and talking about the tradeoffs. It looks like this family is thriving and I'm honored to hear them talk about their build and their lives.

I get a strong sense that you and your kids are killing it. The bond between you all is enviable. I am sure there are tensions but it seems likely they will not be too severe. This will stay with each of you all of your lives as a great time in your life.

This is definitely one of the most amazing stories I've seen on this channel. What a phenomenal opportunity to share with your kids. I lived in a converted school bus in the early 1970's with my parents and it is a time I will never forget. And their school bus is really awesome - I love the distinct spaces. And the fact that they've got pets too, makes it all so wonderful for them. Thanks so much for sharing your story with us! ❤

So great that you're getting time with your children and building memories! The advantages of going to a tiny home is worth it! My husband is building his first tiny house after retiring from a carpentry business of building garages and some homes as well. He has a KZfaq channel, kenskarpentry and so his latest project is building a tiny house on a trailer. He's in the beginning stage of building and already one of his subscribers recently bought it. Its gonna be a fun project!

This is what happens to people when they are raised with love and real education, a homeschooling experience in life. I was moved to tears by the love and faith in this family. Such an inspiration, whether people live in travel homes or stationary; this world does not have to be in the state it's in and every person has the potential to become much more than they are. I love your tiny home. I love you are making time for your kids. It’s hard I know because my mom worked two jobs to take care of us 4 kids. I wanted her to quit one job so she could be with us and she did. It was hard but she did it. Very proud of her and you for doing that for your kids. You made this a great home for you and the kids. It’s very nice. I love it. I live it you made it your own. Thank you for showing this your home. Enjoy life with your kids.

I really like to see people that decide to change the way they are living. I hope this family is very happy traveling together and that the changes they made work out for them. Everyone doesn't have to live the way that I do or you do to be happy and fulfilled. Wish everyone could understand this... Would I want this lifestyle with 3 teenagers? No I wouldn't. But I think it's great that this family chose to do it and seem so satisfied. Not going to make nasty comments just because it wouldn't work for me.

My parents lived in a tiny house with nine kids. It wasn't on wheels, though. They also lived for a little while in a tent trailer with six kids. That was kind of rough.

Great story for the mom and the kids. Couple of days ago when I saw a post debating which is better being single for the rest of your life or having kid/s. With this mom's experience, are you going to be happy living single like this? Looks like they're on a fun adventure I'm always curious if they have enough insulation in these homes and what they do for a living to earn money. Plus what they do if they get sick on the road and need medical help
