He begins by showing how to fill up and down the kit, easily reversing the direction with an extra stroke.
Next, he demonstrates how to to play single strokes between the hands and feet, both right and left.
He then applies it to various musical contexts, including rock, funk, swing and samba.

very good singles between kick and floortom, there is no need to play the snare with the right hand and cover huge distance, the left can drop of the hi hat for that note. sounds the same and much easier.

Doesn't sound the same. There would be no hi hat sound, and that's the point.
