Woodstock was a cultural touchstone that started as a music festival offering "Three days of peace and music." and exploded into half a million people spread over a farmer's fields in 1969. Fortunately the organizers had camera crews filming most everything. That produced a movie that's worth watching. Woodstock (named after the nearby town of Woodstock in upstate New York) was arguably the epitome of the days of drugs, love, peace and protest. As the comedian Robin Williams aptly stated, "If you remember being at Woodstock, you weren't there".

Joe was certainly getting by with a little help from his friends on that stage 😊😊

The greatest time to be alive in the United States this late 60s up until the late 70s. We had the best music, the best bands, the best concerts live.

Emma, I am thrilled that you reacted to Joe’s voice and his passion! If you want a comparison of him doing a slow, love song check out his, “You Are So Beautiful”!!

You really should try his version of You are so Beautiful - different vocals and tone, beautiful for a vocalist to analyse. Best version ever and comes from his heart

That look you had! 😂😂😂 This has to be my favourite reaction ever from this channel. You have to love Joe Cocker. He lives his songs. For a more sensitive side, check out, “You Are So Beautiful”. It’s stunning
