This is my last ride of the SINNIS SM/XE 125cc
I get many 125cc bikes but this bike took me on adventures I could only dream of and opened up a new world. I had so much fun.
Although this video is the last green lane I rode, I have a couple more hard-core lanes coming up for you that you will enjoy I can assure you that I will look forward to bringing them to you.
Could the SINNIS SM XE be the best value road-legal 125cc fun machine? suitable for all roads?
Spoiler : ) Yes it is !

So that's what Father Christmas gets up to during his down time.🎅🏻🏍 Between you and Saddlebags, I can see a Honda CRF 300L or CRF 300L Rally in my future. By the time I get to that skill level, I'll know which. It looks so fun 😄

Nah it was a rubbish view. But you know, Devon and all that 🤪 I know you’ll make some great vids from that day, and it’ll definitely be worth the effort. It was a great vibe with our little group, and you were like a kid in a sweet shop. That’ll come through in the vids, no doubt.

There were some tough lanes. It’s all quite unnerving, but you coped with it all. A few more rides like that would boost your confidence, and your anxiety should diminish. Being anxious leads to being tense, and being tense has adverse effects on handling the bike.

Having seen it at first hand I have to say, (it hurts me to say this about a chinese bike) What a brilliant little trailie, Sinnis deserve to sell them by the cartload! Certainly a great tool for a youngster coming on to two wheels, it's got pretty good performance and sharp looks, Also because of its lightness it's easy to handle for those riders in their twilight years such as Exeter Rider....... 😉😁😛

Really enjoying this, my first bike after a fsie was a yamaha dt175 stroker. Fast as hell up to 55-60 but I could off road on a common near to us , soon I was jumping and all sorts. V fond memories of that bike. A mate had a 4 stroke honda cb360 and he couldn’t keep up until we got past 55mpg. Light and dashing loved every minute. This brings all fun back. Funnily enough broke collar bone twice doing stupid things on mountain bikes and frightened of falling off anything nowadays but this looks cool

Great fun off-roading with you again there Exmouth ! If they ever start selling these in France I'll have to go and have a sit on one. Not a fan of the high seat but maybe the preload can be taken back a bit to give a bit more sag with the rider on the bike ? Would be worth a try at least. Otherwise this seems like a fun little tool for getting up to dirty mischief on. If I'm going to be doing a lot of crashing, I'd rather be doing it on a lighter, slower, less expensive bike like this one 😂 Thanks as always Exmouth 👍🏻 I do wonder how long you will manage to hold out before getting a trail tool of your own 🤔 Cheers buddy🍺 El Outro

@@exeterrider Haha, I knew it ! I‘m in the same position, I have caught the bug, but the Meteor isn’t really the bike for the job. Unfortunately, at the moment, I am not in a position to buy anything else. I also need to decide between new and used. Hopefully in 2023 ! Whilst I understand your concerns regarding riding the same trails multiple times, I‘m not sure that it is really an issue. The same trail at different times of day or in different conditions can seem completely different. Riding a trail you know well when you know that it will currently be an absolute quagmire is an interesting challenge. Or riding the same trail at midday, dawn or dusk can make it a completely different experience. I‘ve thought long and hard about this because a 125 is only an option if the trails are fairly local to you. You wouldn’t want to ride on fast roads for an hour to get to a new trail on a 125 particularly. In that case you‘d be better off with a 300-400 cc bike, like with SB73 and the TET. But I think I could still enjoy riding my local trails multiple times, personally. Have a good think about it Exmouth ! 🤔 Much love, El Outro

@economicalrides
@economicalrides Жыл бұрын
@@exeterrider Well, that’s where a little 125 scores. Cheap to buy, tax and insure. If it’s your off-road toy for life, depreciation is not an issue. At that point it doesn’t really matter if you use it a lot but it’s there for when you have time and a reason ! Definitely don’t go OTT on one, that would be silly, but something adequate and cheap to own, where it doesn’t really matter if you use it much or not, is justified IMO. I’m still torn between cheap and cheerful or something new, which I intend to keep forever, thereby mitigating the costs of depreciation. Still, if like you, I had the choice of riding a Pan America on wet Devon grass or a Sinnis 125 up a trail, clearly it would be the Sinnis 😂😂😂🤔 Sleep tight Exmouth Biker, RE

Yes me too. The hyosung engine is superb in this one. The chap I interviewed with a hyosung GV125 which I also reviewed is now over 11000 miles now and nothing has gone wrong in that time. I can't tell you what the electrics will be like but the rest of the bike is really good, handling, 54mm forks etc etc. Sinnis issue really is getting local dealership network setup and parts can be complicated as it is with all the bigger Japanese brands is much the same. There is a lot to be said for it. I can't find nothing I don't like about it all things considered, but yes it's always good to know what they will be like down the line 👍
@warrenr4
@warrenr4 Жыл бұрын
Out of interest, is it Sinnis themselves that supplied you with the bike you reviewed ?
@exeterrider
@exeterrider Жыл бұрын
@@warrenr4 yes, they just give me the bike and say let us know what you think. Any negatives they take as feedback. Which often I write a email conclusion which gets passed to the top brass. The only negatives as I've told them is dealership network and some of the other bikes service intervals, and since world has been turned up side down..... Parts supply. . It's good we can still have bikes that are priced so well like these are for people on a budget. It's a bike like this or nothing for many, so that's good.
