This is how I personally adjust my chain. I am NOT a mechanic so please confirm anything with a professional if in any doubt. Happy biking.

My pleasure. I do 'test' techniques before I film (camera operator is my daughter) so I hopefully show the easiest way. I'm always learning, so always happy to share.

The chain thing that you took off it was below the chain but you put it back over the chain

That spinning under power would not tell you if your wheel was tightened up misaligned. It would still spin in alignment with the axle with no wobble. However what you could do was to gently push a long straightedge up against both your front wheel front and back and you rear wheel front and back at the same time, misalignment would be evident if a gap was present to the front or rear of your rear wheel tyre. Or use a string line if you can lock the front wheel steady in alignment at the same time. Again look for a gap to the front or rear of the rear tyre or for the line touching at the front of the tyre before it meets the rear.

Enjoying your videos mate keep up the good work.... In terms of reliability, how has the terrain Heald up? Any issues so far?

Thanks Chris. More videos to come for sure (hoping for new camera at Christmas). Overall, very reliable. I had quite a major issue which was as a result of a manufacturing fault, which was picked up on a service. Sinnis shipped a new engine and it was swapped out within a few days. Excellent service. Had to 'run it in' again, which was a pain, but can't fault the service. Good MPG and runs at a good pace across town. I'm around 5500 miles in 6 months, and you get an occasional splutter, but starts first time every time. For the money, it's good value, good styling and practical. My only real bug bear is service frequency. Due to my high mileage I'm back in the workshop every 6 weeks or so. Servicing cheap though, circa 90 quid for a full service. Two year parts and labour warranty on a 125cc at the OTR price is excellent value.

PS. Not sure if you saw my bike review. May do another one now that I've spent so much time in the saddle. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Y7uXm5uYndq7dYU.html

First ! :D Great video. Do a riding video if you can please.

Happy to do one. There are some out there already, but I only have a GoPro at the moment, so no microphone of any use. I am looking at getting a TomTom with mike that fits in the helmet, so once I have this I'll happily do one. Thanks for the feedback, I do enjoy doing these. Happy riding.

Hi paul, good news. I am loving the videos, I would like to see this bike stress tested sorta. I.E Some hills, and dual carriage way riding of at all possible ?, I am getting mine in September, went to sit on one and loved it, gorgeous bike. As for a mic, you might be best just getting a gopro mic, and routing it through your helmet. You can get wireless one's. Hope this helps, I would recommend purchasing a motorcycle wheel truing device, rubber handle of a hammer or another tool of such isn't super accurate, wobbly wheels lead to tank slappers and ultimately a riders demise. Stay safe, ride safe !

I'm Googling Wheel Truing Devices asap. Thanks for the heads up. I'll do vid as soon as I can. The promotional video Sinnis provide does oversell it slightly. It's not the best on long hills (sits at 55), but it is a cheap 125. I guess you can't have great looks and great performance for the money, but it's such a lovely ride you can forgive the lack of speed at times. I do have to keep reminding myself, it's all you can expect for a 125. It's certainly a head turner.

paul wright is that 55 on hills or on a flat ? Someone I talked to say they've had 65 out of it on hills. Cheers 👍🏻
@wrgpaul7 жыл бұрын
67 on the flat, 55 on hills. I guess it depends on the hills :) I'm still hoping to get remapped to see if that makes any diffene.

Hello lads I don’t suppose anybody is here hoping to adjust their Hoodlum? Anybody experienced, know the core differences? I see that first swingy bit you shifted out the way is NOT on there. Wish I had an OG to show me - we all need a geeza with a 2 finger trick to pass down sometimes 😂

God what a faff. I've had a Jawa for a YEAR, the chain was adjusted when I first had it and hasn't needed doing since. Unfortunately enclosed chains isn't an invention that has so far reached China.
