Hi Kayla yes I have seen this done but I'm not sure I like this method. Putting a 20p in the clutch lever cable joint and adjusting upto that is adjusting tension into the cable almost clamping the coin. I like to do the opposite and adjust the slack as you saw by feel and looking at the lift gap. If you are confident and comfortable using that method yes absolutely but for simplicity and ease feel always wins for me. If I am misunderstanding you and you use a 20p to judge the gap only then that's a brilliant tip thank you 😊

@@silktvPDR1 Yeah basically just to judge the gap, would never let it get clamped or what ever that would end up doing more harm than good :)

I'm a bit unsure what you mean with no throttle? You should adjust the clutch as shown setting the engine end first then fine adjusting the free play at the handlebars. If you mean you have no lift or freeplay then the engine end adjustment is surely out
