Hi silk I filled my coolant expansion tank months ago, I’ve just taken the radiator cap off to check, it’s completely full, it hasn’t gone down in months, is this. A problem

I only ever saw a couple of Silks, they were a quality made stunning British bike that deserved to do better.

Felicidades por conservar esta preciosa mecánica. Tiene pinta de tener buen par motor a todo régimen. Es un concepto moderno de chasis : de la pipa de dirección al ancaje del basculante lo más directo posible. (Solo tenia que tener motor 3cm más corto y basculante 3cm más largo para ser 'actual') Me encanta una 700 con cadena de transmisión cubierta. Se ve estrecha y ligera. Un gran trabajo

@davemiller2180 no this only affected the speed reading on ours as there is no ABS light? Do you mean the engine symbol for ECU failure? If so check the video on ECU MIL resistor failure.

Hi , thanks for the reply, the bike is a sinnis smxe 2023 it does have an abs light which is on, its been back to the dealers because it was blowing ABS fuses, they replaced the abs module but came back with speedo not working, checked fuses and there OK, thanks for your help I'll check out your ECU video for when that packs up 😅 cheers

@davemiller2180 that would only help on Terrain models. I'm not that familiar with your bike but it does sound like you have a combined failure! Where is the speedo pickup on your bike and does it use an ABS ring as pick up? I think first port of call would be to check wiring just in case missed by your dealer when replacing the module.

Is this sinnis terrain ,my bottom end seems slack ,thought it was sprocket carrier ,but still there after tightening and greasing it

I remember when they came out there was one up west gate rd at Newcastle. They were twice the price as a 350lc. One of my dream bikes to this day.

Cr9 is on the cooler side especially for a 4 stroke.
