Great first look ER looks really nice.

if you like changing gear a lot and you can handle an engine you need to buzz to get it to move this will work. it will appeal to some.

I had a T125 as my first bike. I remember the dealer getting their first T380 in. The guy who owned and ran the dealer hated it! He said the same thing about the gearing and just didn’t like it. It’s a shame, as it does look like (from a distance, if you squint, at dusk) a GS! Good review, and good job sticking with it.

GS screen, Tiger light and the V-Stroms beak. The front end doesn't know who it's trying to be, but it does look like a decent little bike.

Really interesting first look, when you think about it there are so many things a manufacturer has to get right and if one of them isn't right it lets the whole bike down, very tough job. It looks the part and I'm surprised at the extras in the price, especially the suspension. Can't wait to see the rest! Thanks for sharing ☺️🖖🏼🖖🏼

bit of a Suzuki v-strom look about it to..would make a good 1st bike for anyone moving up wanting something like a adventure bike but cheaper and lighter.

Looks wise it definitely has taken influence from other bikes. I can't believe it's 200kg, for a 380cc that seems way too heavy. Like you said I think for a off road bike for someone who wants one as a 2nd bike this could be a great choice. Looking forward to the full review. Stay safe bud

I miss the weather down South. It's about Minus 2 with wind chill up Norf and raining heavily, yet the people of Exeter are walking around in T shirts 😉😂

I really wish we found time to meet up for this one. Would have looked great with both side by side. Looks like the same seat and switch gear. I really want that luggage on mine.

Just got Benelli TRK and with scaffolding then panniers attached you need all the grunt poss and this is no slouch, so 380 appears unnecessarily light on cc's!

Great review, and a good looking bike. I thinknit will be difficult to take sales away from the himalayan at this price point but younger riders may prefer the more modern looks 👍

It looks quite nice. Really disappointed when you opened the top box. I was sure there would be a loaf of bread in there 🤷🏻‍♂️

Great machine for the cost! 200kilo is not heavy for any machine nowdays as far as the gearing you definitely were short shifting but if the gearbox is light with easy changes, I dont see any problem, trouble is Brits are snobs and ride more for top trumps so sadly this machine may stay rare.

Does seem the gearing is a bit naff. Shame. Still, glad I went with the Himalayan 👍

I like the look of that ER if they did a 650/700 it would be really interesting to compete with the Tiger 660 maybe the rivets on the box hinges I think with time might need altering cos I think they might well give out and the side stand I guess you could mess with that to make it better . those gear I wonder if you played with the sprockets could you have the effect of lengthening the gears don't know but all in all nice cuanto cuesta !! : D

It looks good if you think adventure bikes look good. I like naked bikes.

Personally I'm not a fan of the thin aluminium box/panniers they damage and dint soooo easily an abs plastic or something similar would be more resilient, but that's just my opinion

I've never been a fan of the 380, I think you'd be much better off putting your hand deeper into your pocket and stretching for a Voge 500 or Benelli TRK, that's if you're dead set against a used cb500. It looks like a cheap bike, rather than a bike that's cheap.

Typical adventure bike, pig ugly & It's Chinese say no more.
