If so release the footage of you farming the stage of the Katy Perry "Immortal Flame" stage where the game played the same 30 seconds of that song over and over again as you were farming the stage...... I blame Aster Tatariqus for how FFBE is rn since it lost Gumi so much money as a company and they had to lay off so many people because of it and they even asked some employees to take voluntary pay cuts as a result. Now that isn’t to say Square Enix’s hands are clean of this either as Gumi has to take the orders they give them regarding the game meaning that some of the content cuts on Global are also partially Square’s fault as well since they called a fair amount of these shots. I think Square Enix is trying to keep FFBE around since it can be seen as an entry point to the FF series for newcomers since it’s easily accessible and is simple enough for them to understand. The only 2 ways I could see Square Enix saving the game is either by buying Gumi or buying the full rights to FFBE off of Gumi since the game is somewhat of a joint custody between them but Square has the majority control.

It's too soon to say they skipped Cloud. They are probably waiting to release the Overdrive mechanic with Wilhem first and then probably Cloud next.

Has anyone thought about why they are letting us get all the seasonal characters for free now in the free ad summons? I can only assume its because they know we are not getting anymore and want us to enjoy having them in our inventory?

They may be delaying him until Wilhelm comes out. So that he's the first overdrive unit. I can't imagine they would skip one of the more popular units

I feel you glossed over Benedikta a bit fast just because she's wind. She's 240% wind imperil with her field and provides an AoE 100% amp. Both Eithne and Fundy are wind and have it in their field and 150% amp, so they can still hit hard. That's on top of her covering the other element Clive can hit with and still fits on his LS. With either Eithne's or Clive's 50% sword imperil, she hits as hard as Eithne, which seems fine for a supportive unit. That's on top of the 3 turn 100% amp being on a 5 turn CD. Great uptime, especially with a CD haste from someone like Melissa. I think she still looks pretty good for extended content and still has the big 200% imperil for bigger bursts. Plus, she's AMoE on her LBs, the same as Clive's 9900x wind-locked AMoE chains. And most importantly, 2 stack AoE mirage. 🙏

Yeah, I did say she's alright for damage and FF matches up. It's just that we aren't getting DV ever again, and Clash is pretty much done, so all that matters is the SBB fights. I guess she could help on them going wind, so she's not useless or anything. I'd just say it's easier to go a diff elem.

@@frostkie8002 They advertised Wilhelm as debuting OD during the Livestream, and Cloud is easy money so there's no way they skip him no matter how close EoS would be. My guess is they threw FF16 together as bait, for Wilhelm as the shiny new Mechanic, then Cloud as the big Hype guy people like (2 Bait layers, 3 depending on if people want Tifa instead)
