This is sion's Mill built in the mid 1800 and employed members of my family. Sadly it closed in the late 90's. Whenever it opened the workers worked bare footed as the floor was constantly wet due to water cooling the looms( It was a linen Mill). All the stone came over from Kilmarnock.
