1:25 that’s what I’ve said about VAR for ages. I think it would be a very good policy. Usually within 30 seconds watching it on tv you can see if a decision was correct or not. It’s ridiculous they sometimes take minutes to decide an offside. He was so right with this and I hope they still implement something like this at some point.

Sir Alex basically predicting the future 15 years ago. "Both sides have suffered at the hands of bad refereeing decisions" and "goal line technology would be a start"

"predicting the future". Why do you think they were even discussing it? He wasn't making up the idea of goal line technology off the top of his head, it was already being widely discussed during this period, they were even referencing articles about it. Most people were well in favour of it, it just took forever for the referees to agree to give up their power and bring it in.

united lost the league in 2010 because they lost to chelsea at home after an offside goal from drogba stood. they lost 2-1. had the game been a draw, united would have finished on 86 points, chelsea on 84 and united would have won the league, so actually the opposite
