I played midfield from under 9s till I was 46yr old and never do you think 6,8,10 a midfielder does it all, one box to the other. Souness kean Ince and now Bellingham would to a man see themselves as 6,8 and 10 in every minute of every single game they've played.

I'm an Arsenal fan but I respected Paul Ince as a player. When I was in Milan in 2019, I found out that Inter fans of a certain age are still fond of him to this day. A proper legend!

I always remembered looking forward to watching his first Milan derby and the inevitable clash with Marcel Desailly. They kicked a few lumps out of each other that afternoon. 😂 The Inter fans called Paul 'Lo squalo nero' - The Black 🦈.

Paul Once was a great player for United. Was abit flash & abit cocky at times but that was part of his personality. Robson, Keane, Ince I mean what a midfield. Proper old school players that gave their all never shirked away from anything. All the characters all the leaders we had in the dressing room back then Cantona, Keane, Ince, Hughes, Bruce, Pallaster, Schmichael Class of 92 coming through etc

As a red who followed United home and away in Inces era. He was great for us. A fantastic footballer. At his best was peerless in the premier league. Covered every blade of grass. Also I remember him also saying he always wanted to play in Italy years before

problem is owen was from the youth team of liverpool and ince was from westham . so it is not the same 😅 . no way a liverpool guy would play for man utd . the same reason for fergie telling CR7 not to join city , but go back to man utd . some fans just wont accept those things 😂😂

I remember watching that match at Norwich. One of the best team goals i've ever seen, all one touch from back to front, think Kanchelskis scored but the build up was unreal!

I was a teenager in the mid 90s and was in a car at Salford, the big roundabout near the cliff, and Cantona was behind and waved in his Honda Accord, not like nowadays the money they earn and cars.

Paul Ince and Paul Gascoigne played over 50 games in the middle of the park for England and never lost once in 90 minutes. Gascoigne going to spurs over united is the worst move anybody ever made. Ince and gazza would of been understudy to Brian Robson with a defence of Bruce and pallister and the forward line of Cantona and Hughes. With Keane to come if only, if only.

That 94 United Team was special. Double winners and League Cup finalists. Ince and Keane in the center midfield position were awesome! I think Utd came 2nd in '95 and lost the FA Cup final to Everton before Incy, Hughes and Kanchelskis left that summer. Fergie cant be faulted though, ended up winning it all 4 years later.

Fergie of course was right regarding Norwich because it wasn't about that game, it was about future games when you'd have been winning by one goal and you need to play it sensibly. As for the Guv thing didn't Incey have it on his number plate when he was at United ?? Have to say he was excellent for us and I was shocked when he was transferred. Big call deciding to carry on with the transfer if Fergie said he'd had second thoughts.
