As a Spurs fan, I can honestly say that Sir Alex is the greatest manager of all time. To achieve that sustained level of success over that long a period is just incredible. An absolute legend and one who will probably never be eclipsed in my lifetime, not even by Pep, who is probably the closest manager we have in the Premier League.

Oh and Aberdeen are also the last team outside of the Old Firm (Rangers & Celtic) to win the Scottish League title. The man is also responsible to take Scotland to the 1986 World Cup after their manager at the time died unexpectedly.

Liverpool fan here and as much as it pains me to say it and because I suffered throughout his time at Utd, the man is a legend of the game. Of course he has an eye like few others. One of my guilty pleasures was watching his Utd sides in the Champion's League during the late 90s and early 2000s. We weren't in it very often at the time so Utd were usually the main English club going for the European Cup and boy was I entertained. But man, did I suffer during his years at Utd, except the first few years where he struggled and Utd still struggled.

Sir Alex is in his eighties but he can still predict the trajectory of teams and can still manage a team to clinch something extraordinary. What a visionary he is. I am extremely happy that he managed us for more than 25 years and got us every f*cking trophy available, time and time again. This is exactly why he will be the GOAT Manager. Similar to a few years back when Leicester were struggling although it was obvious they were playing superb football. They survived and the following season won the league.

I wonder what he thinks of Tottenham, I seriously think they are going places under ange even if results have dropped off recently. Im not the kind of fan that watches teams other than United but I'm enjoying the football they play and interested how they will develop. So good to see a manager implement his style so quickly and have so much belief in it and himself.

As a Newcastle fan I couldn’t see it especially after going up 5-1 but I’ve watched them in other games and they seemed to play amazing … think I was just too happy about the shoreline to think about how villa was playing

What's more surprising that newcastle lead in following statistics on that game - possession, shots, shots on target, clear cut chances, xG. I've seen some of rival fans saw his quotes and said that he doesn't know the modern game.
