One thing that makes me like Park is he never played dirty. Even though his mission was to defend one of the best midfielders at that time, he managed to do it without any unneccassary foul.

Park was smart enough that he knew he had to man mark him the whole match so if he got a yellow he would have to careful and Pirlo would got an advantage, if he played clean, he could do his task without a problem.

The only time Pirlo got some free time from Park was when he took freekick or corners. Ji-Sung Park was so underrated It was a genius move from Sir Alex to put Park full time on only Pirlo, AC Milan become so much weaker when Park was near Pirlo, cuz then Pirlo couldn't do what he was good at

Perhaps JS Park was not the best of the type player with his skills, but he was one of the most faithful and disciplined guy a team who can have whose competent manager can use the player at its most useful timing and place. He has all the skills enough for all the rolls he can do as a soccer(football) player; but his obedience is something only what stands out him from the rest. It is not because he is just merely a Korean. He is type of ‘the player’ who is one of the most obedient and faithful card every manger would pay millions for.

he is talanted player but had weak body since he was boy. He was short and thin that people around him thought if he would stop playing soccer even when he was in high school. It was his complex but his parents gave him a lots of food known as good for body thanks to their effort he became taller small by small. and with his great stamina and fighting spirit he became best player on kyoto and psv. After he came Man Utd, he had knee injuries hard so even one match by match it was hard to him. And then Ferguson give him a role focused on defense because it demands him less of quickness which makes his knee tired. Maybe it is the reason we recognize him as a player with good stamina and patience. So I think he is of course with great obedience he became one of the best Man utd player, but at the same time I think It's a pity that he didn't show enough of his talent like speedy and powerful styles he shown on psv.

No. In fact, Pirlo's pass count in that game dropped to a third of what it normally was, and even that was mostly a back pass Of course, he created a threatening scene because he is a great player, but without Park Ji-sung's manmarking, he would have been much crazier
