@@Yuki_Ika7 Also, the interesting bit is, he’s not wrong when he says “humans are more complicated than fish.” If I were in a situation where slavery was just a fact of life, I would prefer things done Diogenes’ way, that the slaves are treated as people with a personality, not just a robotic piece of property. And obviously that line of reasoning leads towards emancipation when taken to its logical conclusion, that humans shouldn’t be property because they aren’t objects.

Ironically enough, it's theoretically near impossible to suffocate yourself by just holding your breath due to several of the body's specific defense mechanisms not allowing you to do so.. Meaning it would've taken nothing but sheer will power and determination to hold your breath to the point of literally dying, absolute fucking unit

I don't believe I clicked the link to find them but I do believe the algorithm started recommending them after enough Sir Swag because of people like you who forged a correlation in the software. Gotta say, I find it astounding that you not once in this video mentioned that he was a stoic, or the philosophy of stoicism. Diogenes was a key player in the rise of stoicism and an important figure to consider in this movement that still exists today. I personally have found the core of stoicism and understanding it personally helpful, even life saving, after losing virtually my entire family.
