Bro didn't deserve what happened to him. There were people waving at him and happy to see him. It seemed like he was a nice person in the community. He's been through hell his entire life. His sister "died", his dad "died", his mom "died", his brother died (I think), and he's just alone. I just want to point out how michael leaves his house during the day every day, meaning he probably has another job outside of being a night guard. A lot of people outside his neighborhood had to see him like this as well, and based on his neighbors' reaction to him simply leaving his house on the first few days, michael was probably a really well-liked guy. More people than the ones in his neighborhood were disturbed, such as the people he worked with, his costumers (if he was in customer service), and most likely people who just saw him in a parking lot.
