I do the same but instead I put rubber band on the end. Same results. Love this curl pattern

Thank you 🥰 When I did this video my ends were really open and the rubber bands would pull my hair out. Now that they’re closed more, I use a different method for bigger braids that includes rubber bands.

Next time, can you show the take down process as well? That would really help me get a better idea of how the curls form. I just recently got my sisterlocks installed last month.

How long do you keep it knotted like that before you take it down?

My hair only takes a few hours to set, so generally I’ll do it before bed and take it down in the morning before work and it will last until it gets wet.
