"you're using alopecia to stop you" is a statement that is kind of just showing how much arshmah is not understanding how deeply this is affecting her sister? she's not using alopecia to stop her, the alopecia is causing probably extreme anxiety and leading to isolation... it's so much easier said than done to just NOT allow those things to stop you

i have alopecia and when i was younger i was bullied due to it so it created a deep fear of rejection and just social anxiety so hearing her sister say “just put yourself out there”, i feel like that’s not even an option like it’s not just that simple

hailee undeniably saying she’s the prettier sister and constantly affirming that belief for both herself and her sister is insane. like abbey feeling the way she does makes sense since her sister is so abrasive and feels so comfortable putting her down. like the anorexic comment yes was mean but then hailee literally said “like i mean thank you🤭”. clearly she’s abiding strongly to toxic beauty standards and projecting that onto her sister.

It's insane because throughout the whole video, all that I thought was how much their relationship is like me and my sister. I relate to Abby alot. My sister is also the older, pretty, smart one. She even has the same sharp features and posture like hailee here. I Always get compared to her and she called me a cow infront of literally my WHOLE family ( infront of cousins, aunts, grandparents. I cried so much that day and didn't even get an apology)

I get this, but remember Arshmah said that they haven't really had an in depth conversation about her Alopecia, I don't think she meant to be nasty, just that standard "be strong and dont let life get you down " My sister has an autoimmune disease, living together allows me to have a full understanding of her condition. Sometimes, my sister needs tough love and firm encouragement, so she doesn't wallow in her pain and insecurity.

I am not the type to wallow in my pain but I also understand that it is necessary at times to grieve, so you could come to terms with what is happening to you. It takes thoughtfulness, tact and empathy to support those whose lives have been completely changed from illnesses, accidents or other life altering losses. Telling someone to just be confident or get out more won't make them just magically become that way. If it were that simple, no sane person would willingly choose to feel insecure or depressed.

People are unhappy with the counseling sometimes but then they just get moved to another counselor. The amount of mental health needs in this country are greater than there are local therapists/counselors. So people accessing some sort of counseling is better than nothing

They both look like the most fierce and glowing queen is gonna talk to you but they are just cotton to the ear. Can you explain to me how these two things are the same? Someone putting their music out there and trying to become known can definitely be cringe if they do it in a cringe way. And being negatively judged for your art can hurt anyone's feelings. But not wanting to be social because you have alopecia is completely a mental battle that Misha has to overcome on her own. It's not like if she goes to a bar, concert, get-together, etc. that people are going to be like "Ugh, that's the girl with alopecia, get her away from me". She's not going to get attacked because no one is going to even KNOW that she has alopecia to begin with unless she tells them. Misha's and Halley's situations are not the same whatsover.

@@AmiriHipHopThe similarity is that both situations are sensitive and personal matters, which outsiders will often minimize the person's experience of. It makes sense that Misha wouldn't feel comfortable yet going out with recently diagnosed symptoms for fear of being judged or treated differently by her peers. Similarly, Hailey might not want to showcase her talents yet for fear of being judged or teased by her peers ❤

Oh also, I think this is probably the most wholesome SD pairing so far. I love how some of the other women pitch in to encourage the other sisters and vice versa sometimes. This happened in the past too but here it just feels so honest and sister-like.

i haven't seen my sister in years due to location and watching this video made me miss her even more. i can relate to all of these ladies and even though my sister and i have gone through so many different fights and conflict throughout our lives, we still love each other and that bond will be forever. anyways, im going to go cry now....🤣

@@JackIsaacQI thought that comment was really mean but as soon as she said that her sister is a model it clicked for me. I think the delivery was harsh and maybe there is an inkling of jealousy but I get that with her being a model she’s probably worried a lot. That lifestyle can be pretty intense. Just watched more and the sister even had a drinking problem. I really believe that it comes from a place of love and concern.

I could totally see them growing up where Hailee was always the dramatic "I'm going to be a model" one and then Abbey was always trying to, or being made to cater to her sister's wishes to avoid an argument. Like Abbey always wanted a relationship with her older sister, but Hailee was always so controlling and dramatic that the only way Abbey could connect with her sister was giving into Hailee getting her way all the time. Honestly seems like a sad set up and I thought Hailee was younger initially because she was highly immature
