We were enemies with Germany when Russia attacked us initially, later on we became allies against Russia since Germany turned against Russia, then we became enemies of Germany again since we had to drive them out of our country and they did burn the whole Lapland just so you know. Also this is B movie, so perhaps it is not for you if you don't like the genre because the whole genre is anything but realistic.

This is not a documentary. The word you are looking for is “ally,” but that’s not correct. Finland was invaded by the Soviets (the Winter War) and defended itself when Germany and the Soviet Union had a non-aggression pact. Then Germany decided to attack the Soviets through Finland, and the objectives of both countries became the same. The Finns could not fight the Soviets and the Germans. They sided with the Nazis to drive the Soviets out. Great Britain declared war on Finland, so there was no help coming from the Western Allies. The Germans did have a “scorched earth policy” in Lapland. You need to read more history.
